Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Association

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Association (HKA) is a voluntary, non-government organisation

We aim to to assist people who have a psychiatric disability - and their families - to realise their life goals.

We provide support and information in the local area about mental health issues and activities by means of a regular Newsletter and this website.

We invite mental health professionals to attend meetings, to provide a broad range of viewpoints and a depth of information to its members.

Meetings are held at the Cottage-in-the-Park, Cnr. Stuart and Illoura Sts., Wahroonga. Visitors are welcome.

Next meeting details can be found in the HKA News section or by phoning 9980 2500.

HKA is a member of the Mental Health Co-ordinating Council of NSW, a body that advises the NSW Government on the needs of the mentally ill.

HKA was established in 1986; its members are carers, people recovering from mental illness and those who are interested in providing support.
